Party coolers, also known as Jockey Boxes, are a great way to keep the beer flowing. Jockey Box Coolers allow you to dispense keg beer anywhere, anytime without using electricity. Using CO2 for dispensing and cooling beer with ice and water, Jockey Boxes are the easy way to serve cold beer all day.

Coil Cooler Tips

  • Maintain a cold bath: Keep the ice/water mixture at 32-33°F for optimal cooling.
  • Replenish ice: Regularly add ice to the bath to maintain the desired temperature.
  • Submerge the coil: Ensure the entire coil is underwater to prevent foamy beer.
  • Use cubed ice: Crushed ice melts too quickly, affecting cooling efficiency.
  • Apply pressure: Maintain 30-35 lbs of pressure when dispensing at room temperature.

CO2 Tank

The CO2 tank stores the carbon dioxide gas that forces beer from the keg through the beer line and out of the faucet. Typically, a full-size keg requires about a pound of CO2 to dispense.

CO2 Regulator

A CO2 regulator controls the gas flow from the tank to the keg, maintaining consistent pressure.

Air Line Assembly

The air line connects the CO2 regulator to the keg, delivering the gas needed to push the beer.

Keg Coupler

Essential for tapping kegs, the keg coupler ensures a secure connection between the keg and the beer line system.

Jumper Line Assembly

Connecting the keg coupler to the jockey box, the jumper line allows beer to flow from the keg into the cooling system.
