Effective January 17, 2024. Menu Aficionado by Toronto Brewing Company Inc. (any reference to “we,” “our,” or “us,” refers to this company) understands the importance of your privacy and how personal data is used. We respect the privacy of everyone who visits our website https://torontobrewing.ca and only collect and use personal data in ways that are described here, and in a way that is consistent with our obligations and your rights under the law.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully and ensure that you understand it. Your acceptance of this Privacy Policy starts from the first time you use our site.   1. How Long We Keep Personal Data?

We will not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected or volunteered. Your personal data will be retained on our records until you cancel your account.

  1. How and Where We Store and Transfer Personal Data?

We will only store your personal data in the our Microsoft Azure Server, however this data may be transferred worldwide, this may include countries that are not part of the European Economic Area. These are known as third countries and may not have data protection laws that are as strong as those in the Microsoft Azure Server and/or the EEA. In this event, we will take additional steps in order to ensure that your personal data is treated as securely as possible.

We do not share your payment information with third parties, all data is transferred using Stripe.

We do not share your personal data with any third parties for any purposes, except if we are legally required to do so. In such an event, we may share certain personal data of yours, if we are involved in legal proceedings or complying with legal obligations, a court order, or the instructions of a government authority.

Collection practices: Information we collect includes both information you knowingly and actively provide us when using or participating in any of our services and promotions, and any information automatically sent by your devices in the course of accessing our products' services.

We aim to give you strong controls on our use of your data for direct marketing purposes (including the ability to opt-out of receiving emails from us which you may do by choosing the unsubscribe option.

Users have the right to / and can request to “access” “correct” “update” and or “delete” their personal information.

  1. Can I Withhold Information?

You may access our Site without providing any personal data at all. However, for best use, you may be required to submit or allow for the collection of certain data. You may restrict our use of Cookies, please refer to Part 14.

If you want to know what personal data we have about you, you can ask request this via email at info@torontobrewing.ca. This is known as a subject access request. We may charge administrative costs for repeat requests. Please allow for ten working days to respond to your email.

Commitment to Protecting Minors: We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy and safety of children. Our services are not designed for, nor do we intentionally target, children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under this age.
