This barbed tube connector is made of type 316 stainless steel and has a 1/2" barbed connection on one end and a 1/2" female NPT threaded connection on the other to connect a tube or a hose to a male NPT threaded connection. This adapter (also called a connector) is made of type 316 stainless steel for more corrosion resistance than type 304 stainless steel. The barbed connection creates a tight seal on a tube or hose. The integral 7/16" hex nut provides a wrench grip to tighten the fitting. This barbed tube connector is suitable for use in process, power, environmental, and instrumentation systems in high pressure, vacuum, and vibration applications.
