Vienna Malt (Pre-Milled)
Slightly darker than pilsner malt, but not toasted as much as Munich malt, this grain will impart a dry, slightly toasted flavour. Use in small quantities in pale ales, up to a pound in Marzenbiers. Vienna style lagers derive most of their colour and flavour from this malt.
Provides full maltiness and some colour, often with a nutty flavour. Used in European amber, golden and brown lagers as well as Marzen and Oktoberfest beers.
