Bohemian Pilsner - Toronto Brewing All-Grain Recipe Kit (5 Gallon/19 Litre)
A revolutionary style developed in Pilsen (Modern day Czech Republic) in 1842, this style is credited as the first pale lager beer in the world; started a trend for pale lagers which remains the worlds most popular beer style. Our version is true to style with Pilsner malt and generous additions of Czech hops which lend a spicy, herbal and earthy flavour to the beer.
NOTE: This kit will require the ability to control the temperature of the fermenting beer at around 10-12°C. Alternatively, this recipe also works well with an ale yeast (Safale US-05) if you do not have the facility to control fermentation temperature.Â
