Chocolate Malt (Pre-Milled)
A classic malt for stout, porter, and brown ale. Provides colour for a wide variety of darker beer styles. At small percentages gives a brown colour and mild roasted flavour, larger amounts for strong bittersweet chocolate flavour and near black colour.
Typical Beer Styles: Brown Ale, Porter, Stout, Scotch Ale, Irish Red
Recommended Maximum Usage: Up to 5%
Possible Substitutions: Black Malt, Roasted Barley, Carafa, Dark Chocolate
