The Brewer's Best Deluxe Starter Equipment Kit includes all of the equipment you need to brew your own beer except for a pot, bottles and caps (caps come in every Brewer's Best Beer Ingredient Kit).

In addition to this kit, you will need a kettle for boiling wort. For extract batches, a 5 gallon kettle will be sufficient as only ~3 gallons of wort are required to be boiled - the wort is then diluted to 5 gallons which assists with the cooling process prior to adding the yeast. For all grain recipes, you will need a kettle capable of safely boiling 6 or more gallons of wort - for this a kettle of 8 gallons or more is recommended.
