Brewing Class - Advanced - Yeast Managment & Water Chemistry @ Eataly Toronto
One of the easiest ways to improve your beer is by creating a yeast starter. Along with this basic technique, we'll be covering proper storage of yeast, advanced yeast culturing & propagation, cell counting and yeast viability testing; techniques invaluable for quality and consistency in the brewhouse. This class assumes familiarity with basic brewing techniques.
The classes are approx. 1.5 to 2 hours long and upon completion, each student can take-away a yeast starter that can be used for their next brew day.
Class times are listed above and tickets can be purchased online. Class size is limited though, so be sure to get your ticket early!
