Munich Malt I - Light (Pre-Milled)
Munich Malt increases beer colour, mouth feel and malt character. Essential in Munich lagers and traditional German styles. Munich malt is also a great addition to pale ales and other modern styles, adding complexity and a bready malt backbone.
Typical Beer Styles: Used in dark, aromatic and full-bodied lagers such as Märzens, Oktoberfests, Bocks and Double Bocks.
Recommended Maximum Usage: Up to 100%. Alternatively, replace 10-20% of the base malt in a recipe with Munich malt to add some sweetness, maltiness and complexity.
